The ASF's Board of Trustees is composed of two (2 ) priests, one religious brother and two (2 ) lay board members. To effectively oversee and manage the foundation's operation, ASF's board of trustees is convened once every three or four months to discuss pressing concerns and future plans.

The foundation maintains a lean staff complement in order to reduce overhead expenses. Program implementation and monitoring, especially outside Metro Manila, is coordinated with church workers and volunteers in project areas. Regular area project visits are also conducted by the projects staff. When required, the ASF taps the expertise of volunteers and pool of consultants.
