The Antipolo Seminary Foundation
The Antipolo Seminary Foundation (ASF), Inc. is a social development organization that seeks to address the plight of the poor in selected areas in the island of Luzon, Philippines. Founded by the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer-Vice-Province of Manila in 1992, ASF is registered as a non-stock, non-profit organization with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission.
In general, the ASF aims:
- To initiate, sponsor, assist in the improvement, promotion and advancement of community development projects and programs designed for providing services for the amelioration of the living condition of distressed citizens;
- To sponsor or assist, financially or otherwise, health care centers, feeding centers, medical and dental projects in depressed areas of the country.
The ASF provides technical and limited financial assistance to community level projects that respond to the basic needs of the target communities and beneficiaries, including:
- community-based health programs and other related projects that seek to address the dismal local health condition;
- early childhood education and nutrition monitoring programs for pre-school children ages 4 to7 years old;
- livelihood, income-generating and other forms of socio-economic projects that contribute in increasing the household income;
- the installation of potable drinking water systems;
- scholarship projects that support the essential financial requirements of deserving but financially needy children;
- basic adult literacy, leadership trainings and organizational management trainings.
The foundation is an active member of the Association of Foundations, Inc., one of the largest organization of voluntary, social development and charitable organizations in the Philippines. As per certification by thePhilippine Council for NGO Certification(PCNC), the ASF was accredited as as a "Donee institution" by the Bureau of Internal Revenue. Hence, all donations to ASF are tax deductible.
